Demarjay Smith, an 8-year-old boy whose training video went viral this month, appeared on the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to explain exactly what motivates him to work out and stay fit.

Smith explains that he started exercising so that he wouldn't get bullied. Moreover, he goes around his neighborhood to encourage other kids to do the same.

"I had a cousin who was bullied about his size and his weight so then I had to do something because, like you see on the TV, I gotta be fit and strong."

He said he'd love to challenge Olympian Usain Bolt to a race.

"Do you think that you could beat him?" Ellen asked.

"Yeah, 100 percent!" Smith says without hesitation.

And guess who was waiting backstage...BOLT!
