Turns out people STILL don't know what ASOS stands for!

So most of us know what the clothing label stands for- but if you don't, it turns out you're not alone.

ASOS actually stands for "As Seen On Screen"- mind blown!

This is because when ASOS first launched in 2000, it was a celebrity-linked clothing website. 

If you wanted to find that dress your fave celeb was wearing at an awards show, or those incredibly low rise jeans Britney Spears was spotted in at her local Target, all you had to do was search it on As Seen On Screen.

And it wasn't until 2003 that As Seen On Screen finally changed their name to ASOS and ditched the celebrity part of the site!
