Katy Perry awkwardly got Australia and New Zealand confused

Ohhh this is a standard rookie mistake. 

You can't deny that New Zealand's and Australia's flags look veeeeery similar.

And obviously, Katy Perry doesn't quite know the difference between the two as she managed to embarrass herself on her Instagram story last night when she used the wrong flag emoji!

Katy Perry had arrived in Sydney, Australia last night buuuut her flag indicated she was in New Zealand. 

Obviously social media were fast to correct Katy:

She has since deleted the Instagram Story videos because, well, embarrassing!
