Adele has confirmed her London shows will probably be her last, telling fans life on the road doesn't suit her.
In a handwritten note placed in goody bags at her latest show at Wembley Stadium, Adele confirmed that her four-night stand at the stadium will end her touring days.
"Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn't suit me particularly well. I'm a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things," a handwritten note included in fans souviner programes said.
"I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favourite artist have had on me live.
"And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don't know if I'll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home.
She ended the note saying: "I will remember all of this for the rest of my life."
Adele told Kiwi fans something similar when she played three shows at Mt Smart Stadium in March.
"Touring isn't something I'm good at ... applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable. I don't know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I've toured is you. I'm not sure if touring is my bag," she told the 40,000-plus crowd on her final night.
The show broke attendance records at the time, but she's since been topped by Ed Sheeran, who has sold out three shows in the same venue, as well as three more in Dunedin.
Adele's final show at Wembley Stadium, and, possibly, of her career, is on July 2.
Thank you for everything Adele, we love you!
