New Zealand pop artist Saski has released her dreamy new single ‘Pretty Little Island’.
Soaked in ambient nostalgia, the single is the first track off Saski’s upcoming debut EP.
A track filled with emotion, Saski - AKA Mikhail Birch - explores past feelings and future life direction, after returning to the pretty little island of Aotearoa which Saski calls home, following time living overseas.
"I started the song in San Francisco as I tried to process the change I was taking on, and finished it back in my childhood bedroom as I started to allow myself to truly feel the shift.
Pretty Little Island is about feelings of nostalgia mixed with being propelled forward by life; it’s about the place I call home, and the people I left behind."
Pretty Little Island comes after Saski's first single 'Faking Bright' which currently has over 9 million hits on Spotify. Her other two hits titled 'Independent' and 'Set Fire' too have over a million streams on the platform.
